Advisor "Speed Dating." Each student met with each potential advisor one-on-one in five minutes intervals.
Student/faculty potluck lunch.
Non-Academic Job Panel. Five panelists come in for discussions on jobs outside academia.

Brown bag lunch with Advisors. This was a three week series: Three different faculty members gave a short talk with graduate students on their area of research and their expectations of advisees.
